Default Cleaning a camera lens?

I seem to have attracted some crap onto the lens of my new Ricoh. Whats the best way to get it smear, and crap free?

Sandpaper

Seriously though, I use lens cleaning fluid and a spec cleaning cloth I get from the optician for my specs - works fine for me

I use a lens pen bought from Jessops. I used to use lens cleaning fluid and lens tissues, but my Dad bought me this for Christmas and it gets the surface much cleaner. By far the best thing I've ever found.

It's a brush at one end to brush off all the crap, and like a carbon covered thingymawotzit at the other end which takes off the dust and smear marks. Brilliant!
