Laptop carry case

Hello all,

As you know I will be travelling to Chiswick from Chelmsford twice a week. Now I have an uber 9400 inspiron that I want to take with me. Nothing screams mug me more than hauling a laptop carry bag around. So I will be looking to put the laptop in my scruffy Puma King bag.

So I need something that will protect my laptop when I am carrying it on the underground. So far I have come up with this:

Does anyone have any other ideas. I was thinking of getting a hard case that was lined with foam or something, but I can't find one anywhere.

I am also deliberatly staying away from anything that looks like a laptop bag, which includes those special laptop carry bags

Get a small (i.e. no excess pockets) properly padded laptop carry bag. Shove it in your Puma bag. Done.
