No film has ever scared me like the Grudge did. I was actually scared to be home alone after that! I daren't go and see The Grudge 2 either. Really want to see it, but I'm just too scared. Same goes for the Jap version.
I really didn't have a problem with SAW at all or TCM. Generally, I'm not fussed about gruesome films. It's all the psychological stuff that gets to me.

Japanese horror is the only thing that will actually get me slightly fidgety (apart from Arachnophobia, I watched that when it came out as a young lad and it gave me the willies!)
Other than that most horror makes me point and laugh
