That's crazy money for that car, can't believe you'd have to pay that much .

If you can get a quote that low for that Paula I think your very lucky, but even you said that all your friends your ages makes them sick when they hear how much you pay. Pretty much anyone I talk to say that what I am likely to pay this year for insurance is pretty good, I have to agree it is VERY expensive but everyone my age has to pay alot on insurance. But for Fully Comp cover I am really quite happy with that, of course I would like it lower but it is very unlikely that I will get any lower quotes.

Those quotes make me very glad I learnt to drive later on so I was over 21 when getting quotes.

As long as your happy Tink. I drive inexpencive (crap) cars, <£1000 so only insure TPFT so my insurance is always going to be less. Couple that with pass plus and it goes down again. EH10 postcode also seems to help.
Have you put on one of your parents as a second driver with yourself as main? Last edited by Blackstar; 16-02-2007 at 20:05. |

Can anyone tell me where I can find the area ratings for car insurance? Just rang up to tell them I'd changed my address and they reckon I've gone from a level 4 area to a level 18 area and want to charge me an extra £75 for the next 4 months. This is bull****! Leon's insurance didn't change and he previously lived in the sticks which will also have a low crime rate.
I'm sure there's a site which tells me this, but I don't know where it is... grr!!!

Hmmmm, this woman was on about going from an area with a rating of 4 to one with a rating of 18... so I don't think it's the right one. Thanks anyway. It shows me that my old house and the new one are at least in the same insurance band as far as this table is concerned.
