We're big Bombay Gin drinkers too! (Well, I certainly am!)

The other night, Picky made us a couple of G&Ts and I asked for a "nice" one (one with proper tonic and Bombay Gin). He decided he would have a cheapy version ("Gordens Jim" - Acquired from our latest visit to Cyprus) as he would be having beer after and so poured out two glasses and tootled off to find the tonic.

Upon returning he'd forgotten which glass he'd poured what in and proceeded to give them a sniff.

Gordens Jim... smells like Undistilled Vodka/engine oil! Easily distinguished! Hehehe!

May have to look out for your suggestion Matt in the near foochure! Sounds like a nice treat

I bought my dad a bottle of Hendricks when I worked at Harvey Nicks (staff discount FTW!!), the old bugger's addicted now.

He also drinks Bombay Sapphire and Tanquaray.

Quite partial to an occasional G&T myself. I usually buy Bombay Sapphire but I'll have to give the Hendrick's a try since it comes so highly recommended.

Put a slice of cucumber in it if/when you do.

DELICIOUS!

i'm no connoisseur of gin, thats for sure, but have a preference for organic - and always with diet lemonade, not tonic - sacrilege i know!

Hendricks is very nice stuff, I think I slightly prefer the taste of Bombay Sapphire as an 'everyday' sort of gin but either is more than acceptable. Tesco was doing 1L of Sapphire for £16 over the festive period which seemed a bit of a bargain to me.
