Gin Palace
I like Gin, mostly we drink Bombay Sapphire which makes an exceedingly nice G&T and is much smoother than the more traditional gins on the market, if mixed over ice with a dash of line this is a very nice G&T.
However today I decided to try a different tipple and found this in Waitrose. Similar in style to Bombay Sapphire but smoother and much more subtle it is an excellent gin and fits in slightly above Bombay Sapphire in my estimation. Where Bombay Sapphire hits you with a very aromatic nose Hendrick has a cucumbery subtleness that is very drinkable but hits you like a Pan-galactic Gargleblaster. I am now quite happily merry after just a coupl or three MB |

Yes, well if you are drinking them in pubs they will give you Beefeater or some similar paint stripper by default, however if you ask for Bombay Sapphire you'll get a decent G&T everytime, I probably wouldn't drink anything else in a pub to be honest. Give this stuff a go at home and you'll see how a decent G&T is supposed to taste

hendrics is really nice. whap a chunk of cucumber in it and it's about the smoothest coolest thing you can get in a glass.
Martin Miller's and Blackwoods are 2 others that you should try if you haven't. a friend of mine got some premium tonic water as well. from a quick google i think it was fever tree but i'm not 100%. made a real difference though. if you're willing to spend on the booze you might as well go a bit further and get some good quality mixer too.
