I'll take a look tomorrow. There will definitely be 5m ones as that's a standard length, but we may have some slightly longer ones that we've made ourselves. We're moving departments next month so most of them will only get chucked out anyway. Amazing when you think how much high street shops charge for them.

Ah, OK, I was wrong, but that makes it even worse than I feared. Don't ever ask a purple shirted person anything technical. Some of them know that they're on about, but most will either run away, look startled, or spout rubbish. It just isn't worth the risk.

However, most of the online retailers are like that if you phone them. email tends to do better because they can pass it around internally first. |

We've already got all that, just a pain to have to make one with a standard 5m will do the job perfectly.

the only pre-made ones we have are patch cables for the server room. The rest involve, crimp tool, box of cable and crimp heads. I'm usually the one who gets lumbered with the job because I'm the best at it
