Send 'em the bill. Won't get you anywhere, but it might be cathartic.

I got a nice phone call on Thursday after initially dealing with a potentially suicidal male. His son asked for me and passed on his thanks for the initial job which involved numerous multi-force actions.

Prior to that, a female rang to say that a teapot and some gloves had been planted in her house by the FBI.

It can happen people .....

I'm giving some serious thought to ringing up Tesco. This might initially sound a bit fickle, but I'm getting quite annoyed at the number of times offers have been listed out in the aisles, which then don't show up on the till so I end up being charged more.

The latest of these happened today. I saw a bunch of spring onions for 67p. The little red card said buy two, and pay £1 (saving 34p). This didn't come up on the till and so I paid for it.

Yes, it's just 34p, but I check my bills when I get back home and am finding these sorts of errors increasingly frequent; (I do check I have the right items).

It is hard working in a shop and keeping up with the price changes.

Example.. we recently had markups on out ski sale to protect the profit margin, however a lot of our stock was from our Freespirit and Animal stores, meaning that they wasn't on the list.. so we can't check them and label them up properly.

There are also times when certain colours of items go into 2 for 1 promotions but others don't... that is annoying

I had a box of Rice Krispies a couple of weeks ago that tasted bloody horrible so I filled in the complaints form online and a few days later I received postage paid packaging to send them back.

Today I got a letter.

Quote:
Dear Feek,

I was sorry to learn that you have had a complaint concerning Kellogg's Rice Krispies and thank you for contacting us.

It would appear that the cereal has become odour contaminated at some stage during the chain of distribution. Unfortunately, due to their dry composition, strong smelling vapours can be absorbed and retained by this product. Substances of this type are not used or stored in our factories or warehouses. I can assure you that I have brought this incident to the attention of our quality assurance manager for further investigation.

Blah blah, have six quid's worth of Kellogg's vouchers for being awesome.

Lots of love.

Mrs. Doris,
Kellogg's

LOL! Love your work Mr Feek

Last weekend Rob and I ordered a Pizza Hut delivery and was told that delivery was 2 hours... yes it was saturday night, but even so :/ so we decided to collect anyway.

The reason for choosing PH over Dominos was because I wanted to try the garlic cheesy bite crust.

We were told that it would be 30mins so the boys went to collect and by the time they got back, the cheesy bites were all dried up and just dough :/

So I complained on the website and got sent a £5 voucher for Pizza Hut!

LOL - deffo pays to complain

I love complaining, the best result so far having two managers, one from United Utilities and the other from Morgan Est apologising to me in person in my home.

It is really amazing how quick your complaint is resolved when you email the members of the board.
