Reportedly it handles really well for a muscle car. The police in Hawaii have started using the GT version of it too for their high speed stuff.
Whatever it was damaged the window and plastic molding of the wing mirror too so must be fairly caustic.

The Mustang is set up for the American driver, who wants what he perceives to be sporty handling while retaining the ability to glide over the road effortlessly. With minimal modifications, the current 'stang can be made into an equal of something like the M3 (which is only the way it is because us here europeans prefer our sports cars to be more hardcore than our yankee cousins).
