Ello,
Mate of mine just called, a support monkey has just deleted all his offline files on his machine with about 1.5gb of stuff in there (he deleted a weeks work!). Does anyone know the name of a freeware/open source tool he can quickly download to get back some of it? I've had to do this before but I can't remember the name of the software that I used. Any suggestions? |

Get Data Back is good. Pretty sure it's not free though.

Thanks lads, I've passed these over and another called pcrecovery. Poor bugger is gonna have to do it all again as after scanning it looks like the monkey panicked and then started moving files about

Thanks
![]() Of course I have made mistakes, it's then when you blatantly attempt to cover it up and deny all knowledge that you deserve everything you get. In this instance calling them a monkey is quite tame and deserved. |
