They are completely bonkers. Yet they have all this formality and procedure and honour etc... and then they do stupid things like this and ninja warrior and takeshi's castle and you just think they must be off their rocker! lol!

Looks like a game I'd like to give a go, some of those girls were rather delightfully cute!

I worked for a Japanese company for 2 years. You're spot-on, they are so procedure-oriented and everything has to go by the book. The company even had an emergency apology team for when customers had severe disruption to service
