Default Creative minded people in here pleaaaaaase!!

Hello hello!

I'm having a mental block here with what to do and thus need your creative brains!!

It's Pickys Sisters Babys Christening this Saturday and we've bought her a charm bracelet so she can collect lots of charms throughout her life and eventually wear it when she's older!

Thing is. Although I like the idea of a charm bracelet, it makes me a little sad to think it will be a piece of jewellery hidden away for 18 years with only the rare occasion of seeing light when new charms are added.

So.

I've gone and purchased a deep box frame and am now sat here with it and my charm bracelet trying to figure out how to display it nicely inside.

Help!

I so far found a star which is like a loafer type material and have draped it over that... but it doesn't seem quite right! Ideally I would like the whole bracelet showing nice and round... but but but. Just don't know how to do it!

Ideas people?

(box is like... 6 inches by 6 and an inch and a half deep.)

How about making a small cushion to go in the box, attach the cushion to the back of the frame, then use pins to hold the necklace in a circle shape?

Could use lovely girly material for the cushion to make it pretty

I think a cushion or circle (like the inside of a roll of cellotape) would be ideal

Everything I do just looks...

poop

I've tried making a pin cushion type thingy and it's either too plain or too detracting.

Annoyingly I think it's going to have to be quite plain for the moment as once more and more charms are added it will look cluttered if there's anything decorative.

Argh!

I'm supposed to be creative!

Damnit!

Why not get one of these and put it in the frame?

I had another bash at it early this morning and then finished it at lunch! After fudging up about 3 cushions I finally made one that looked semi decent!!

Will post the final product in a bit

Fankoo for your help! I was just getting angry with sowing stuff and it failing!

Took me ages and required an old skirt of mine to be cut up! But yeh... that cushion is mark 5... it was the best I could do! lol!

Hahahaha! I think the photo makes it look poo but I'm proud of it Better than being tucked away in a box!

Made with love
