Default Dumbells - where from?

I want some neoprene or plastic covered 4kg and 5kg dumbells, but I can't find any for sale. Don't really want to buy them online because of postage costs.

Leon's got some adjustable dumbells, but they're just too bulky so I want some 4's and 5's. Generally, you can get them in a set, but I haven't found one with any reasonably-sized weights yet. They're all 1's and 2's. Tesco only have 1's and 2's.

Any suggestions? I'm thinking of trying Decathlon, but don't want to trek all the way up the M1 to find they have nothing there.

Kate, just had a chat with my old man as I thought he had some weights spare. He has

I can take a look at what's available for you and let you know, but I'm 99% sure you'll be able to make up a couple of sets of what you need

I should be able to pop in tomorrow night on the way home and check what's there and grab some pics

I'd try it tonight but I'm going to be too pushed for time.

Well I'm not seeing you for a few weeks, so it's not urgent I've got some wimpy 2kg's I can use for the time being and I'm still getting used to the exercises so don't worry about it

Righty'o

Give me a nudge if I haven't sorted it out by next week. I know you're not in a rush, but if it's not what you're after then it's just wasting your time

If I remember correctly, he's got DB bars along with a few gold plastic coated weights that I would guess are in 1, 2 and 5kg increments. Should be able to make up what you need
