Gave up Alcohol and stuck to it, not had a drop Monday the 23rd of Feb Curenty on 41 days offcically 7 days to go but its my birthday on Easter Saturday so I am having a party and my lent ends then. Anyone else ready for the end of lent. Its changed my attuiude towards the drinking culture in this country and made me think about drinking heavily. |

made you think about drinking heavily as in not doing it or planning on doing it?
I am shocked when people say they manage to stick at something for lent etc, well done I would be very proud tbh. I know I don't have enough willpower to give things up for lent that I enjoy that much, I could have chosen something I wouldn't miss but its not really the point is it? |

I picked sweeties one year and lost about a stone
It is really hard denying something point blank. Well done. It's my birthday then too, though, I'm celebrating on the Friday. We're dressing up as bunnies apparently. Oh dear! |

Well done mate. I gave up alcohol last year for 6 months - it wasn't that hard as I'm not a big drinker, but it was still a challenge. It's even better it's helped you review your attitude towards alcohol.

Cheers, I have lost a stone as well, the lack of late night drinking sessions and eating kebabs has done my health wonders.
