Default Where to download a Dell OEM x64 Vista image?

I've got my serial with my laptop, but lost my vista install CD, since i'm going looking i'd rather have an x64 install anyway and just wondered where i can get a hold of a copy however possible as long as it accepts my serial...

Cheers

Providing you have a valid code, I can send you a DVD, if that helps.. Failing that, I'll upload an image to my domain but that may take some time.

Back in the XP days, Dell used custom serial numbers. So any old CD, OEM or otherwise, won't work - it has to say Dell on it. I'd assume they carried on doing this with Vista, though I have no proof of that.

Thats why i'm asking, i can download any old image right now but i want to know what i need to look for if its some kind of custom install i'm after. Guess i could just try and failing that just use a slightly hooky copy but i cba with the hassle involved just in case since i actually HAVE a valid serial for once in my life

I dunno about x64 but I could get you just about any other Dell image, not sure how I would get it to you though!

As you know, i've had quite a few dell/PB PC come in with batched codes. You can use any install DVD. All of them fail online activiation but the automated phone system does the trick.. Make sure you give yourself 15 minutes because the process is quite long winded. Works each time.
