Question Stupid question time

OK so I have been told that "type M" xd cards are better than "type H" memory cards but I've just gone looking and discovered there is now a "type M+" memory card.

I'm after a reliable and cheap 2gb xd card (or 2) for my fuji F31fd - I'm going on holiday a week friday and want to make sure I have one by then and at the moment I think I'm just over-tired and over-confusing myself

Help?

In terms of write speed:

Type H > Type M+ > Type M.

Write speed affects the camera's 'recovery' time (i.e. the time between taking one shot and the camera being ready to take the next). Since the camera has an internal buffer that will hold up to three photos, you are unlikely to see much of a difference unless you're taking several photos in quick succession (e.g. burst mode).

OK so for me it really shouldn't make much difference what I buy then?

Next question is does anyone know of any good bargains about atm? Play have them at £12 so I'm tempted to get a couple from there unless anyone knows a better offer?

I find dvd.co.uk very good on memory prices (esp. USB sticks). These are the only XD they have in stock currently though:

7dayshop have 2GB XD cards for £10.99 delivered just now. I've had stuff from them in the past and found them to be fine.

Unless you have a DSLR that can burst at stupid speeds, the write speed to the card is never going to be the limiting factor.

Just get the cheapest one
