Default Need new Wireless Keyboard & Mouse

Afternoon,

I need a new keyboard & mouse. I've had the same MS Optical Elite Desktop for about 5 years, but it just doesn't cut it anymore. It's got a wireless range of about 3ft, which was great when I used it on a desk and just wanted to lose the wires.

But now, I'm running my PC off my TV so need the range to be much better. What does everyone use/recommend?
I'm not really bothered about features, other than a decent range.

yeah, just seen the MS 8000 thing reduced from £130 to £90 @ ebuyer. tempting but i dunno if i wanna spend £90 on it. its a bit overkill on features.

Get the 7000 then cause its generally cheaper thats all i got, you miss out on backlight and keyboard charging which you really really don't need.

I'd get a wireless apply keyboard and a Logitech Revolution.

There i've got the WED 7000, but tbh i'd definitely fork out for the 8000 there, thats a bargain for that price, and it really really is that nice, especially if you want to use it vaguely for media centre stuff

well i use my keyboard to adjust the volume and launch itunes, but i couldn't justify spending twice as much on the 8000 as the 7000.
