For those wanting to buy 2100 point packs for Xbox360, I just ordered mine today from http://www.live-codes.com/ using the voucher "FRUGALGAMING" for 50p off and the code arrived within 30 seconds of checkout, which is impressive. |

Argh! Which version to get, looks leet and the price is surprisingly reasonable.
[EDIT] 360 version is slightly cheaper which puts me more in favour of that version

- Unlimited ammo
- Auto health regeneration - Three entire classes which are largely the same - Three maps, at least one of which is lifted from BF1942 - Maximum of 24 players Has it changed much since I last heard about it and that ^^ was the case? Because that sounds a bit pants to me :/

I'm certainly gonna give the demo a go, as I'm a Battlefield fan. Trouble is I've got Sam and Max still to finish and Monkey Island due out next week!

This is my train of thought, also there's that 2-D platformer Epic are making that i will probably end up getting. I know it's a long way away but it's nice to know the points will certainly be spent on something eventually :E

i liked the look of this when it was on coop - but for £9.99 and only 3 maps, i'll have to wait and see if its actually any good on PS3. its all about how many people are on there, etc with PS3.

Remember, Battlefield 2 was brilliant, but it was ALWAYS 'Strike at Karkand'. Counter-Strike was brilliant, but it was always "de_dust2", Quake 3 was brilliant, but it was always "q3dm6", so it doesn't so much matter how many maps there are, the best ones will always get played. Also, Battlefield 1943 has been getting some rather brilliant reviews. I wouldn't look at a lack of maps as a bad thing, but more a guage of quality over quantity. |
