Films you like that most people haven't heard of!
I thought this would complement DLs thread nicely. As the title suggests: waht films do YOU like that aren't well-known or popular or whatever and a couple of lines to say why.
One of my all time favourites is Koyaanisqatsi. It's a Hopi Indian word meaning 'life out of balance' and is all time-lapse and high-speed videography of mainly landscapes, set to a Philip Glass score. No message, no hidden meanings, just something to kick back and chill out to. let's hear yours

K-Pax, one of my favourite films with possibly the second best score. Kevin Spacey and Jeff Bridges star in it, but few people in real life have heard of it.

Love and own both the films just mentioned .
I love Eurotrip, but a lot of people hate it. It always makes me laugh. If we're going for more obscure, I really enjoyed Naked Weapon and although many people have heard of it, I know loads haven't seen it, Amelie. |

Vulgar - A Clown gets gang raped and he goes out for revenge. Not a family friendly film. Very strange and very dark.
Drawing Flies - The 'missing' View Askewniverse film. Group of housemates are about to get evicted, one invites others to his fathers cabin. Only there's no cabin and he's searching for bigfoot. Funny and weird. Plus - Jason Lee rocks!

Up until last night I hadn't heard of Revenge of the nerds
was made in '84 and there are about 4 of them. Watched the first last night and it was quite good. Maybe it's because I'm at uni and play American Football and that's similar to the setting of the first film. Going to watch the second film later tonight after a few beers |

I've got all three of the trilogy on DVD, (Powaqqatsi and Naqoyqatsi being the other 2).
They're awesome.
