Default Tonight.. I shall mostly be drinkin'

and I tell thee, for an American ale, it's pretty darned awesome. Lovely warm rich malt flavours in it. I am very much loving it.

Sam Adams is actually surprisingly decent, I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to pick it over more local ales but it's a good choice.

There are a number of local breweries here that are doing surprisingly well, including Kona who's stuff I really like. I fancied a change from my usual Kona brews, but didn't have huge amounts of choice in the supermarket

Mel raves about Sam Adams every time I've been to see her in the States, so every time I have one I think of her.

Love it - only beer I tend to drink in the US. A lot of places have it on draught as well!

Sam Adams is my beer of choice when I'm on the far side of the pond

I have half a glass of pear cider and enough Indian food to sink a liner!

Tonight I have been and still am drinking this:

A whole shelf dedicated to beer, not to everyone's tastes, but I got 4 free cases so will happily drink them
