BBC 6 Music - Fantasy funk 6pm TONIGHT

On my way home last night I tuned into Radio 2 and caught part of the Maida Vale celebrations. First thing I noticed as they played a Robbie track is just how much is lost of a song by the recording studio's tweaking. If you are interested it was at 11.40 ish last night along with Scouting for Girls.

The real point of this thread is for a heads up on the dream fantasy funk band that Craig Charles put together. A poll was run allowing people to put the best parts of Funk bands together to create an ultimate band. Another poll was run saying what the band should play. Last night they gave a taster which was "Money" (famous track).

Quite simply they were awesome. Well worth a listen or again on the Iplayer.
