OpenDNS configuration advice please
Does anyone know if it's possible to configure OpenDNS to send an email when someone on the network tries to go to a blocked domain?
I've had a look around the setup and I can't see an option for that but I could well be missing something obvious.

AFAIK no, or at least it wasn't an option last time I used OpenDNS.

Not used open DNS but I'm guessing there will be an option to redirect to another page for the purpose of giving the user a pleasant "Bugger off you're not allowed" message? If so then you could probably use some php or similar on this page to send an email as the page is loaded.

This sort of thing is generally best done with your own on-site proxy (Squid will do), but I think some routers can report on denied access, and if OpenDNS can forward to a custom page, then the option above is a very good one too.
