Spec me some Westerns
I like a good western, I've been catching up on some classic Clint Eastwood over the last couple of weeks but I'd like some suggestions of other good westerns to watch.
I'd like something supposedly realistic, or at least fairly accurate to the era. Suggestions?

Unforgiven is by far my favourite though as you've been catching up on Clint stuff i assume you've seen it?
Instead of recommending the obvious classics, have you seen 3:10 to Yuma? It's not the best western ever but it's nice to see a modern take on them and it's a good film with some excellent acting.

A couple I've seen recently (and not for the first time) are Unforgiven, The Good, The Bad and the Ugly and Once Upon A Time In The West. If you're after something a bit more whimsical then Young Guns and Young Guns II are pretty awesome - I actually prefer the sequel. Emilio Estevez is pretty much Billy the Kid for me whenever I hear the name, the same way Matt Damon is Bourne.
Edit: Tombstone is also awesome.

I've done quite a few of those listed, Unforgiven, High Plains Drifter and Pale Rider were recents, obviously all the Man With No Name ones as well.
I've also done Once Upon a time in The West and the two Young Guns along with Tombstone. They're all very good and I also thought that The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford was excellent. I shall have a look for 3:10 to Yuma, Josie Wales and Open Range, thank you.

I seem to remember A Fistful of Dynamite being pretty good too, but haven't seen it in a good while.

It is awesome. Can't believe I forgot that one. The bit with Gary Sinise is just chilling...

Two great films on the periphery of the genre:
There Will Be Blood No Country For Old Men Both are a bit short on narrative for me but they have spades of ambience and uniformly superb acting performances. EDIT: Sort of joke suggestion: Back to the Future III
