Default Getting Back Behind the Lens

Having gone to France, and taking my camera, I really enjoyed toying with settings and stuff, and talking to other members of staff who have a passion for shooting.

Anyhoo, here are a few that I took over there.

I am now retraining myself with photoshop, histrograms and curves. I've forgotton soo much!

As you can see, the kids were really interested.

Number 1 is stunning, I'd be very pleased with that. You've managed to make the flare work with the shot, rather than against it.

Also like what you've done with 2, the way it's symmetrical and it's not a 'normal' shot with the whole thing in frame. The darkness of the water in places reflects it's stillness (no pun intended, can't think of another way to word it )

I like the focus in the third but I think it would have been better with his whole head in shot, he looks a bit chopped off, if you see my meaning!

Cheers guys! I ended up taking loads of the sunset - it was a great sight! Gonna take my camera back out with me often and just snap away and experiment.

He looks like an end of level boss in a side-scrolling shooter. Good pics though!

Forget re-training with Photoshop. Get Lightroom. Its the best thing for photo processing.
