Photoshop experts help please.

Can anyone please take all the white paint in the following picture and get it as close to black as possible? And on the way if you could also make it canary yellow?

All attempts greatly appreciated.

Turning white to black always makes it look sort of satin rather than gloss, I don't know of a way to avoid it really.

Not really, the yellow one was just use a hue/saturation layer mask with colorize ticked and the black one was a levels layer mask that copied the mask area from the h/s layer mask.

The only difficult / time consuming bit is making the mask neat
