Rasterize

I don't know if anyone can help, but I am trying to do this tutorial:

And I have drawn the tree using the pen tool but not sure if this is ok in the Background layer or should be in a new layer because after doing the Blending options stuff I can not rasterize it

If anyone can help please shout!

Why would you want to rasterize any of that? It's something you've just drawn so no need. Rasterizing is usually to turn typed text in to an image

Actually, just saw in the comments that the rasterizing is a mistake in the guide

I can't freaking get the pen drawn tree to be a green line anyway

despite doing all the blending options > stroke changes followed all the instructions too.

For some reason it is turning the border of the black shape green and not the squiggly line!!!

PS can we not embed images anymore???

Success!

there are A LOT of steps missing though from that tutorial!!!

They had better like it. The only thing not 100% is the star, which is different on CS5.
