BD Fun Run?
OK Peeps, I'm going to put this out there, I'm new to running but I've suprised myself and I'm actually quite enjoying it.
Having decided to do the Couch to 5k program I'm thinking I might as well give myself something to aim for, so I'm going to enter for an official 5k fun run (<<<NOTE, NOT A RACE). Now I know a lot of you are running more then 5k as a matter of course but remember, until a couple of weeks ago I had never considered running at all so this will be a challenge for me . So I wondered if anyone fancied joining me? I've found two both in London, one in Victoria Park in East London in October http://www.bigfunrun.com/?london&locations_id=59 and one in Regent's Park in Central London in August http://www.anthonynolan.org/royal5kromp I actually like the look of the second one I'd being doing this for no other reason than to prove to myself that I can and to raise a bit of money for charity. So how about it novice runners? And maybe our seasoned runners? MB |

I could be up for this mate, could be fun
5k wouldn't be a massive issue for me as I used to run it a little, but it would be tough enough as I've not run for such a long time.

If I did it, I'd go too fast at the beginning thinking I'm fine, then crawl across the line with my spleen hanging out
