Default USA Help! Flowers?!

I need to send a friend some flowers since she's just had some bad news in the family. It turns out this is much harder/more expensive than i thought it should be! I can send flowers quite easily for under £20 in the UK and i'm sure you can in he US surely?

So to anyone over the water: Where would you go for flowers? What deals websites do you commonly browse? Like alternatives to www.hotukdeals.com in the UK?

Cheers!

http://ww12.1800flowers.com/ is the most popular site.

Sorry I can't help more. Tina would kick my ass if I "wasted" money on flowers for her. She stated many years ago that if I was going to bring her home flowers they better still be growing in dirt.

What we've done in the past is looked up the nearest florist, wait til their working hours and ring them up and pay by credit card. Much cheaper

Same as Nutcase. Often deliver flowers to my Aunty that way. Or via interflora.

Cool cool i found 1800 and tried interflora but couldn't help feeling their prices were a little silly... Will give a florist a ring tomorrow, fancy that in the age of the internet

I have always used a local florist to where the delivery is to be rather than a UK based international one
