Hmmm... I don't know.... I think it's an unfair comparison as the "old" pic is so much more atmospheric, and the white wall is largely the focus, making the wheels look bold and striking in the gloom, and setting the scene for the picture, if you will. While the "new" pic is just a straightforward side on pic designed to do nothing much other than show the car with its new booties.
I think it still looks good without the whitewalls, but I think it does lose a little "feature". The black and red of the new tyres blend into the car a bit too much, if you see what I mean, although I think a more stylised photo, with the attention drawn to another aspect of the car, and you'd not notice the whitewalls were gone at all. |
