I doubt they had to pay him much, The Lonely Island are quite popular, though more so in the US than here due to SNL.
They've had plenty of big names work with them, Justin Timberlake, Jack Black, Natalie Portman and so on and so forth.

That's hilarious. Leon was playing it before we went away.
 There's one with Michael Bolton in it which is fantastic, as is "I'm on a boat" and the one they did with Justin timberlake about shagging their mom.
