Jessops also has a brief round-up offering it for £3k body only, which seems a little ambitious, imho.

TBH I can't afford nor justify buying a 5D3 without selling my 7D, which I don't want to do. My current plan is to bag a 5D2 when the prices sink into three digits to replace my current 40D backup camera as I think the 7D and 5D2 will make a very flexible combination.

Will still be having a gander at the 5D3 at Focus this weekend mind! The CPS email I got today said they're doing technical preview/seminar things for CPS members but it's first-come-first-served and I think it's going to be a little over-subscribed.

Have there actually been any mentions of release dates for the 5D3 yet? Some models, like the 7D, seem to be available only a week or two after the announcement, yet others take forever.
