Wow, that's a proper bike! I didn't know you had a bike licence.

I haven't +
I did my theory & hazard perception last Friday & scraped a pass, I have my first practical lesson for my Mod 1 on May 1st. I've been looking for bikes since selling my Chopper & this is the best one I've seen by a country mile for the money I had. I thought I would have to compromise but I am honestly happy in every single way with the bike I've ended up with. |

Should be good for 170mph
Lessons start tomorrow, Hoping to get it all done by next week but it is dependent on when a Mod2 can be booked. All I could do was stand & stare at it today. |

First day of lessons today involved riding in the rain for 7 hours & to be honest the rain took my mind off all the crap you have to go through. My helmet started hurting my ears after about 4 hours & the instructor did his best to ruin any hearing I had left by shouting like a **** most of the time when talking would have been adequate. My glasses steamed up constantly & so did my visor it was Great. About as great as having a broom handle shoved up your ring.
I can honestly say there were times when I just wanted to deck somebody ANYBODY & go home. Thankfully after being home for an hour or so & a couple of smokes I am finally getting over the nightmare which was today. |
