District 9 *spoilers*
So I recorded District 9 on Ch4 last night and just watched it, or at least I watched about 1h53m of it until the PVR decided to scramble the channel
 It was at the bit where Van De Merwe in the robot tells the prawn to go on and he'll hold them back - now I'm kinda predicting it all ends well with the ship flying off and his arm being sorted, but can anyone confirm this for me? Thanks!! |

He tells him to go on without him, Christopher promises to come back in 3 years. Christopher makes it back to the smaller ship where his son is. He gets the computer on it started up and remotely starts up the mother ships tractor beam to connect the two ships, starts up the mother ship and leaves. Wikus looks on approvingly.
Cut to Wikus's wife, she is holding a small flower made from metal. She says how she found in on the doorstep but her friends say it can't be from him. We then see Wikus now fully transformed in District 10, having just made a small metal flower. I think that was it............ EDIT: Oh Wikus managed to survive getting killed by the mercenaries when the other aliens came to his aid and swarmed them. Last edited by Muban; 04-06-2012 at 21:10. |
