Lightbulb Any electronics wiz willing to help me with something?

Hi all,

Wondering if BD has any resident electronics wiz's? I'm trying to create a photosensor i believe to be a reasonably simple device to produce. I have appropriate circuit diagrams etc and an understanding of what's needed, but have no knowledge at all about how i'd go about producing it!

Is there anyone who would mind helping me out at all? If so, please reply and we can get in contact to discuss

I'd use a breadboard to test it before getting a pcb to solder it on.

This. Much easier to correct mistakes then before doing anything permanent, especially if you have to etch your own PCB rather than buy an off-the-shelf one.

My electronics knowledge is about 20 years out-of-date, though I'm sure most of it is the same.
