Default It's a bargain

Car in on Friday for discs and pads all round , also a brake fluid change while its there

The good news it's cheaper than the Subaru was

The bad news it it's still £970

That's at a BMW specialist independent using genuine parts

The BMW dealers wanted another £225

Not being funny, but for discs and pads, that's gotta be worth doing yourself. Not that I'd have any idea how to do it but I'm sure I'd give it a shot

It's fairly easy if you've got the right tools. I borrowed a caliper winding tool which makes life a lot easier, other than that it can be a bit of an arse to do...

There is one major reason why I won't do them myself

I can't be arsed

the other minor issue is that the M3 doesn't some with a jack a a lot of trolley jacks won't fit underneath

oh and I can't be arsed
