Default Myspace mobile

It's sort of an interest of mine to question this..

I know myspace doesn't have an API. I also know that some company is doing myspace mobile as a proprietary service for cellphones in America.

I also know that Myspace uses standard http protocol, and you don't need to worry about private/public key encryption.

With this in mind, is it possible to develop a script that scrapes the contents of your myspace messages page after accepting a valid username and password?

I'm not interested in hearing whether you're a fan of myspace or not unfortunately, and this question could easily be applied to any other forms-based web application.

Does this fall under Cross Site Scripting if I'm planning to host this stuff myself?

Any thoughts?

Cheers,

Karl.

I'd be more worried about breaking MySpace's TOS and/or trademarks, particularly if another company is offering the service - they may have an exclusive deal to provide it.
