Default Rocky Balboa

Much better than I was expecting, the actual boxing itself was pretty realistic I thought even though the concept of an old ex-champion fighting the current champion was pretty flawed in that I don't think it'd ever happen.

Thoroughly enjoyable filum, one of the best ones in the Rocky franchise.

I saw this the other night and really enjoyed it too (was too embarassed to start a thread though )

Yeah some of the script was beyond corney, but *that* is part of the point of a Rocky film, some of it was corney for a point too

Rocky Balboa: Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done. Now, if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hit, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you are because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain't you. You're better than that!

I haven't been to the cinema in ages. Orange Wednesdays usually are when I try to go - but obviously I'm not going to buy 2 tickets just for myself

I always thought the Rocky films were "ok" - but I'm willing to give this a chance as I do most films. I used to go the flicks 3 times a month... Need to start going more.

Buy one for you and one for me then! If you're not doing anything this coming Wednesday that is.

George Foreman came out of retirement several times to box for the world title
