TV Advice
A guy I know from another forum's just got a new panasonic HDTV rather impulsively.
He's now selling on his old HDTV and asked me if I want it. The HDTV's a Samsung 26" with integrated freeview, I've forgotten the model number But it's under 12 months old and also has Picture in Picture. He's regularly used it for TV, DVD, PC and 360, so identical to what I'd want it for. Anyway, he's offering me it for £200 although I'd have to drive to Bristol to meet him at a lan he's going to at the end of August, but saves on delivery anyhow! Good deal? I haven't said yes yet as I want to make sure it's worth it.

Get the model number Jen, least you'll know for sure what you're buying.

Will do Daz
He's usually a sound bloke and known him a little while now so don't think he's trying to rip me off which is a bonus. My only slight concern is I'm guessing samsung units only have a 12 month warranty?

I can drive and get it if he doesn't want to post it. Bristol is within sight of my bedroom window. Thats of course if you don't want it, but at that price you would have to be crazy not to.

Newer version of our bedroom TV. Get it
26" is quite a nice size actually. Big enough to watch but not too mahoosive. HD Ready so you can run the 360 at 720p through component or VGA

Agreed on the size - it's a good bedroom size. Good price for the brand, good model even if it isn't the most up to date.
Purchase tbh.

Cool Thought it'd be worth it, but wanted to check
Originally I was eying up the 32" hannsprees but tbh I'd rather a good brand and a slightly smaller size. Should fit the room and the TV stand very well. Now roll on end of August
