Picture quality
Before I blow about £25 on a cable, which would give me a better picture quality? Component to M1 or DVI to M1?
Source is a P4 based PC using Theatertek, display is a dell 3200MP proj. Cheers |

Not sure what M1 is so I'll look it up when I'm at work....but I'd say that seeing as DVI is digital whereas Component isn't, it should theoretically be better.

Just looked it up on Wikipedia. M1 is a digital connection from what I can tell so go with DVI

Cheers It actually carries digial and analogue, kind of a scart type of multitasking thingy. On standalone players people say component is best from what I remember, but as this is on a computer based player, I'm not suprised it should be kept digital.
