Default Portable Firefox

Is it possible to run Portable Firefox on a system that already has Firefox installed and keep the two entirely seperate? This is mainly so I have a browser specifically for quidco-related stuff as my security settings tend to interfere with their tracking cookies.

I'd use a VM instead, but if this will work as a more lightweight solution then that's certainly better.

I'll admit that this thread was entirely aimed in your direction.

Only thing I should mention is that you cant have 2 copies running at the same time. I think it's something to do with how Firefox handles separate/new windows that they cant work around, so the little wrapper app prevents you from starting it if another instance is running.

Cool - only going to use it for online purchases so it shouldn't get in the way too much. I'll wager it gets confused if you do it the other way around (start the app first).
