Are you complaining? I'd love hail that size, at least it could contribute to building a base layer of ice/snow for when I need to go snowboarding.

I've been out in hail like that - it doesn't half make a racket! Does quite a bit of damage to plants/trees, and stings a little!

I'll bet. Even not-that-sized hail is bad enough when you're out in it.
