Do you know what day it is?
It's Quake Wars day!
For anybody who didn't get a chance to play the beta or demo, I highly recommend buying this game (it's designed for multiplayer, so probably isn't as good if you don't play games online). Anybody who did play the beta or demo has already bought it.

Hmmm, is this the one based on the ET engine? Or are we talking a ground up new version of Q3? Discounting Q4 as that was pants and slow

It's badged as an ET game and has similar gameplay but I'm not sure which engine it's actually written on. It does seem to put out very high quality graphics with excellent performance, so I suspect that it's either a new engine, or they've heavily modified the D3/Q4 one to the point where it's unrecognisable.

It's the quake 4 engine.
It's poo (well imho). I've played it since beta 12 up until the demo and it's awful...but nvm. |
