I love the Gas Board

Had a letter this morning telling me my account is in credit and that they're dumping a wadge of cash back into the bank.

W00000t.

So it's off to the internet shops I go.

50 x Verbatim x16 DVD-R disks
Sky+ remote
Wii Ethernet LAN adaptor
Netgear 5 port 10/100 switch

I love getting parcels, already got two outstanding (GH3 and a 2Gb Micro SD card) so the postman's going to be busy over the next week.

Retail therapy rocks.

Watch they don't demand it back when they figure out some way to claim they've miscalculated your bill. Trust me, they're much happier taking money than giving it.

I find it a lot easier to just wait until I get a bill, then pay the bill. that way they haven't got a whole bunch of my money in the first place that they then need to give back to me.

But this way is great, it's like a little savings scheme that I don't need to think about. I budget for a regular monthly payment and every now and then I get a hunk of cash back which is always unexpected and always welcome
