Default Portfolio/Scrapbook/Photo Album

Hello hello!

Would anyone be able to advise me where I could purchase myself a large nice looking portfolio/scrapbook/photo album?

I need to be able to add extra pages/remove them and it should ideally be larger than 30cm x 30cm. It should also be very plain, all one colour if possible. I've got a basic laminated brown paper one at the moment, with clear wallets with removable black mounting paper inside and would like something similar.

I've seen a few online but I dont know what are good quality for £10 - £15. A lot of the ones I've looked at have writing such as "photos" embossed on the front, which is no good!

Can't suggest anything to buy, but if you do see one with writing on the front that you like, could you not print out a copy of your logo, company name, "portfolio" wording, etc and stick that over the top?

kitten says you need to try an Art & Craft shop - they will have what you are looking for and if not, they'll probably have a brochure they can order something in for you from.

In fact, Petemc might be able to help you - he has similar stuff for his photos we think?

I've got a large A2 art folder I can store my photos in. You have to buy the pages separately and can pop them out easily enough. They're not cheap though. For every day stuff I have an A4 portfolio book from Staples that does the job. I can't remove pages though. A local arts n crafts shop will have some stuff.

Just thinking, but would a ring bound book be suitable? You can get the binding machines very cheap, but i'm not sure if this would be smart enough?

Art shops, you get them in A3, A2, A1 size.

I have a A3, A2 and a A1, the A3 one was about £30 + £2 per clear plastic inserts (I have about 20 in each), the A1 one set me back about £80. It's all black, with metal/rubber handles and the whole thing has a leather feel to it, and the corners and protected by metal "angles". £15 one gets you one that is very plasticly and don't last as long. You really do get what you paid for, there seems to be no cutting corners in these folders.

It has no markers or logos on the side or anywhere, it is THE portfolios for architecture students and Architects.

With the puppy dawg, it's going to be hard for me to pop into town hence why I was hopinh to purchase something from the tinterweb!

Might try and figure out a time I can pop into town and have a peek at the art shops (stoopid me didn't look in the art shops before - just places like photo companies!)
