Simple question(s).

From what I understand of the format the 360 should play it natively, so it should just be a case of adding it to your media player library.

.ts is an MPEG2 variant, but there are two formats and one of them doesn't work so well with a lot of codecs (causes sound and picture break-up). YMMV.

I should have an answer tonight. I was 98.4% of the way towards testing it this morning.

ok cool, if you can let me know that'll be awesome. I don't have a machine fast enough to transcode the file so when I've had mkv files before I've had to convert them to wmvs which the 360 plays happily.

Hmm, it plays in WMP but is very stuttery and slow, I added it to the library (or at least did a rescan of my library) but it doesn't appear to have picked up so the 360 doesn't even see it.

Not looking good.

I ended up converting it to a DVD then I'll play it through the iBook on the TV.
