I have one of the other models which is nearly identical and it works well. Not much more you can say really. At £29 it really is a bargain though, replacement blades for it will be about that.

never been to sure on these... i've got a philishave turbovac t863 -

which does a decent job of beard trimming but i've never had much faith in that style of razor, if i want something that close i've always just gone with the mach 3... any longer and my turbovac does a decentish job.

Always been a wet shaver myself but getting a bit bored with the whole routine. Is a shaver like this going to save me much time and hassle?

That's what I was thinking. If I'm ever going to try one, I'd rather risk £30 than £100 odd.

If you shave every day an electric wins hands down, if like me you're lazy and shave maybe twice a week - don't bother with an electric as it'll pull the hell out of your face and give you a nasty rash.

I have an electric, some philishave £150 thing that my mum got me a couple of christmases ago and if I use it every day it's so much quicker.

The fact is that replacement blades cost that much makes thie unit itself practically free !
