SAUSAGE ROLLS!!!!!
So on Thursday I suddenly had a craving for sausage rolls... This was somewhat exascerbated by a certain person (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE, DAMN YOU!) and decided that as I couldn't get any fresh sausage rolls anywhere near my office, nor could I get some shipped in (I sent my boss a text message asking her to bring me some but she was rubbish and failed), that I would have to deal with it myself...
I found this recipe on t'interweb and it sounded ok. After buying primary ingredients then I checked the cupboard for other stuff and found that I had no tabasco... So I replaced it with garlic (mmm... garlic... *drools*). My recipe list was as thus: Shedloads of pork sausagemeat Shedloads of puff pastry (which was prepared by using flour and a wine bottle to roll it out) MUSHROOMS! GARLIC! Worcester Sauce Thyme Black pepper I fried off the garlic and finely chopped mushrooms in butter while I had my way with the pastry using a wine bottle. Dumped everything (apart from the pastry) in a bowl and mushed it all up together and then put it into the pastry I had carefully rolled out and sealed it with some egg along the edge (as instructed) and brushed (no brush, so forked) the rest of the egg on top of the rolls... Here come the pictures... Ready to cook: HOLY ****!: Tomorrow's lunch : I am now stuffed after eating just one of those (combined with a baked spud and salad)

While Dym was making his I took a drive to Tesco to buy the primary ingredients to make the same thing.
However, while I was there I dropped into 'meh, can't be arsed' mode and instead bought a packet of Ginsters which are now in the oven. I now regret my decision and perhaps I'll go back tomorrow

Don't worry Feek, I was going to make Richie L's chorizo carbonara but instead of the kitchen I found myself standing in the kebab shop asking for a large doner and chips please mate.

Good call Lostiuskatius, I didn't go to Tesco yesterday but I did today and I've just finished a session in the kitchen.
Hot Cross Buns are made and ready to take to work with me tomorrow and the sossie rolls are in the oven now. I don't have a tray big enough to hold four of them so I've had to use two trays with two each. 20 minutes to go. I'm scared.
