Misheard Moosic!
Currently listening to Radio 1 and Fallout boys are playing - "This aint a scene".
I ALWAYS hear the chorus as "This ain't a sceene it's a God - damn - arse - rape!" It's so wrong of me!! I just cannot hear "Arms race" (at least thats what I have been told it says!) Shocking! It's not just this song either! I constantly am making up the words to other songs cos I don't know what they say..... like Junior Seniors Rhythm Bandits: "We've got a roock rock roock - get a sock in your house - we've got a beeat beat beat that will beat your beaat!" I'm sure they don't sing "put a sock in your house"... but then I don't want to know what the right lyrics are because I enjoy my version! ANyone else sing lyrics wrong knowingly or because they just don't know what the proper ones are? If so what ones?! |

It sounds like "arse face" to me
I used to go through songs pausing them when I was younger so I could write the words down. Some of the lyrics I came out with are just randomness and I think "HOW did I get that????" when I look at what they are online I remember me and my mate thinging Wet Wet Wet sung "I can't hang the sea" in their cover of "Little Help from my Friends"

My sister and her friend used to sing the lyric "She's not fond of asking" in Naive by the Kooks as "She's not from the basket". It baffled me

I can never hear Nelly Furtado singing Maneater without hearing the chorus as
"...make you spend hard, make you want more buffalo..." allegedly it should be "...Make you spend hard, Make you want all of her love..." Still not convinced personally.

On The Killer's Sawdust album there is a song where Brandon Flowers sings "Dancing in the rain". I hear it as "James Dean in the rain".

There is a song that plays in work i don't even know who sings it but i'm certain that 'mouse meat' isn't the proper lyrics.
