Time to pack up and fill a U-haul.
Tina, Patrick and I are out of this God forsaken hole.
The next door neighbor is buying the house so he can triple his land size and we've both already transfered our jobs to Utah. I've got a buyer for both the truck and the Blazer and we're putting Tina's Neon on a trailer. So if I seem to drop off the face of the planet for a while, now you know why. I'll see you all when I get the computer back set up and running. I won't be taking it down until probably Thursday or Friday.

Good luck with the move, does that mean you'll be in a decent sized town?
Post zip codes of where you are and where you're going so we can see the difference on Google Earth!

That's where we are currently. We're moving to the Spanish Fork, Utah area. 84660 is the Zip Code.

Does this also mean you'll now have sensible weather?
PS - Agree with Feek about the Zip codes (though I've already got the old one). |

That's a long way! Funnily enough, when I looked at a map of the USA earlier this year wondering where I'd like to live, I came up with Utah as an answer.
Are you going to have a reasonable amount of land there, Darrin?

Sensible weather? I certainly hope so!! It's high desert, so even if it gets hot or cold, it will be bearable due to the low humidity.
As for land/acreage? Not a snowball's chance. We'll be looking at yards the size of what Piggy & Lopez have. Certainly won't have the 10 acres we have here. But maybe that's a good thing, seeing as there's 6 or 7 acres of my property we've never set foot on...

Wow, that's a hell of a long way!! How long has this been on the cards? Looks like you're going to be near quite a big mountain range when you move. Cool!!! Good luck with everything.
