Software to batch fix photos?
I managed to bugger up the white balance settings on my camera, so all my photos from today have a lovely colour tint. :/
Any tools out there to help fix this? (any OS will do - I have access to Windows and Linux here and OS X at home) Please, save me from myself. |

What format are they? If its RAW you can use something like Adobe Camera Raw in Photoshop or Bridge and fix one, then apply the settings to them all. If not you can try auto levels on them.

JPEG - the S3 IS doesn't do RAW.
Auto levels will fix most of the problems, but I still have to apply that one photo at a time, and I'm a lazy sod. |

Ah. Hmmm if you used Lightroom you could copy / paste the settings across them all.

Thanks. I'll research that when I get home but I suspect that might involve parting with hard-earned monies.

For a generic auto fix Picasa does this very well You can apply auto white balance, contrast, colour, or "I'm feeling lucky" (which generally does an amazing job of all three). For quick editing of generic photos from a (my) compact i find it does a stunning job. Its also free.

Sounds like a job for a simply action in Photoshop to me, record an action of yourself repairing 1 photo and saving it, and then use the File/Automate/Batch command to repeat that newly created action on the whole directory full of them.

If you've got a Mac, Aperture 2 is well worth a look. I much prefer it to Lightroom.
